Feared.Trends point to serious lack of trained employees by 2020.Well Da!You sent most of our jobs overseas,those of us still with jobs have had our wages frozen or give backs.Why wouldn't people want to be treated like disposable thrash,I would think everyone would want that for themselves!Article goes on to blamer parents for urging children to go to college.Is this the biggest piece of horse crap

4. This reminds me of seeing articles about WI's brain drain
About college educated people leaving the state. Might it have something to do with entry level jobs being generally low paying and dead end. Companies often want very specific skills and experience, but people need places to get the skills and experience. With many jobs and companies leaving, many people are afraid to pay to be educated in very specific techical skills because there might not be jobs for them if company A or B either leaves or for some reason doesn't want to hire them. Companies should also consider their prejudice against people who like to smoke on breaks, who are unwilling to submit to drug testing, who have bad credit, and other disqualifications that have nothing to do with the job. They should also clearly advertise to the public and present reasons why their company is a good place to work. They should also avoid holding several step interviews, which discourage applicants who already have jobs, who may not be able to take much time off of work to interview. If companies are finding that they have to compete for workers, they should actually do so. Personally, I think that it is the overspecialization issue myself.
