Social Security hoopla is really a distraction for the war in Iraq and
the many other ills in this country. Isn't it disturbing to see people talking about SS fix and * and his lackeys spending time on a 60 day tour to champion SS and the soldiers and families are placed in the background of senseless noise. Surely there are more serious and urgent needs than a program that has many, many more years of life to it. In the emergency room patients are usually seen in order of illness, a threatening heart attack patient would certainly be put at he top of the list for being seen well over a migraine headache sufferer, even though a migraine is no picnic since I have them myself and know. My mother use to talk about one's "going to hell in a hand basket", well it looks like the country has done just that.

1. Unlike me or you singularly these Pecker-woods can serve up dujour
This why they have multiples of working in divergent ways. It's all a distraction so that's why must trust in each other to ferret it all out where ever it comes from. Their biggest plans are to screw us any way possible. I always try to remember that and when I do it makes the rest so much easier

In short you are correct but it depends from who's or what perspective your working from looking at that particular problem.

3. SS without actually putting a specific proposal down with all the
assumptions is just a way to kill the fight and build apathy in Democrats. It is working so well that they 'put back the date SS will be debated'. Why not exhaust us for a full year with threats but no 'pen to paper' - instead of just a few months.

SS does need to take advantage of the Emerging Economies and all the growth there. You have to ask why Bush lets the Democrats go on and on without informing them the phenomenal growth rates of his plan are based on investment in the emerging middle classes that will be 6 Billion people in China, India, Brazil, Russia in 40 years and their middle classes going BOOM! as they explode. Why does Bush not clarify? Because he wants to make Democrats looks slow, stupid, un-informed.

Amazing. You don't inform people and then you call them un-informed. Democrats are fighting a smoke screen. Of course they are winning - Bush has said nothing in specific defense. ***holes!

4. I think you're mistaken.
They have hated social security since it was introduced. They want it eliminated.

The Republican Circus has many rings that intersect around the common theme of consolidation of wealth. Iraq, social security, the bankruptcy bill, etc. are all rings under Bush's Big Top.

They created a false crisis to get support for the invasion of Iraq, and they got re-elected. They're just recycling a method that worked before.

5. Excuse me Scott Peterson's sister's book is a distraction.
Michael Jackson's trial is a distraction. Social Security isn't an issue except when it comes to their need to destroy it and get the money they need for their endless wars. We have to stop them.

6. I don't think the "war in Iraq" was an attraction in the first place.
I say pay SS all the attention you can afford.

We have to get used to the reality that the people running the White House are not Americans. They are members of an elite society which is hellbent on destroying everything we hold dear.

Foreigners have declared war on our Social Security system.
