I just have had it with her nonsense, and the website is dedicated to exposing her lies in her weekly columns and TV appearances. There is a fair dose of humor and satire as well. You might check out mine as well--I mostly review conservative editorials, and I have a collection of articles I covered by her my first year of operation (on the right hand side, udner the label, a year of ann coulter)--have thought about doing the second year, but haven't gotten around to it.

9. Michael Moore

Honestly, I think Michael Moore is somewhat to the left what Coulter is to the right. I don't think he takes it to the extreme level of blatant dishonesty that Coulter does, but I certainly think that he lets his agenda override his quest for the truth on occasion. That might not be the most popular opinion around here, but I think it's true. I'm sure we can agree, however, that Coulter is absolutely the worst of the worst, thus the website.

And I don't mean it as a censorship thing. I'm not trying to stop her from being able to express herself, and I think you'll realize that if you go to the website. She's free to say whatever she wants, and I'm free to show how she lies and distorts and to question why she is regarded by so many as a credible political commentator. Her influence in conservative circles in undeniable, and the website is about exposing her lying ways, not literaly "stopping" her.

Haven't gotten any hate mail yet, though it hasn't been up long. I tried to register at Ann Coulter's official message board, but I used the name StopAnnCoulter and they denied my registration. They must have logged my IP because it wouldn't let me register with a different name. Oh well. Thanks again for checking it out!

I have zero tolerance for that Nazi stick.

She is useful as an indicator of what the Brownshirts are really thinking, though -- for example, she has been very frank about her desire to see journalists killed by soldiers in Iraq, for daring to "meddle" with Bush's Grand Strategy. Combine that with the veiled threats the Bush administration makes about how people have to be careful about what they say, and I think it makes it more than a teensy bit tough to swallow the bullshit that the murders of journalists are NOT deliberate. Maybe it's not direct orders, but at the very least it is "Command Influence" -- the same fascist tactics which were at the heart of the atrocities of Abu Ghraib. At the very least, killing journalists "by accident" is an oops and a giggle for these people.

While I think that Coulter says what she says because it is a money-making schtick, and to continue to sell her screeds, they must be increasingly outrageous, on the other hand, I suspect her behavior is pathological -- and I am not saying that to be mean, just clinical....

Good website, well designed. I think you are to be commended for being able to bring such a cool, reasoned analysis to the spewings of this rabid witch.

WASHINGTON - Shock-pundit Ann Coulter dismayed her right-wing fans today when she admitted to being a cross-dressing man in Thursday's press conference. "This started as a joke, as satire, and I think that it has just gone to far." he said to a startled press.

Ann Coulter was born Fredrick Guebermann, of Des Moines, IA. Fredrick moved to San Fransisco on the 1980's to start a career in drag shows. There, he worked under several stage names, including "Crystal Dawn" and "Rosie the Rocket".

"The point of drag shows is to take things over the top, to really push the boundaries of what we think about. Normally, this is done in a very physical way, with lots of glam and glitter. I wanted to see what would happen if I tried to look normal, but act over the top." Ann said to the press.

In 1993, Fredrick received breast implants and started taking hormones. He has not yet had a sex-change operation, and still uses the masculine pronoun.

Upset about the conservative backlash against gay culture, and inspired by satire and parody shows in local theaters, Fred decided to try an experiment. "I dressed up like a suburban housewife and went to a Republican rally. I chatted with my table mates about how evil gays are, and how liberals are destroying America. They ate it up. I had seven guys' phone numbers by the time I left, and some of them were married."

Fredrick then started creating the persona of Ann Coulter, fabricating a background and moving to the East Coast to start moving in conservative circles. "I wanted to see how far I could take it. I wanted to see how extreme I could make the rhetoric before somebody realized it was a joke."

Keep up the good work! I am tired of people who say we need ignore this. I believe this is why the right is able to pull so much over on the left. People in the middle hear comments about the left, from the right, and the left never respond to it, the people in the middle must figure it must be true because we ignore it, then we end up with Chimps running the country.
