1. Nope
But welcome to DU. :hi: Just curious though... Why are are you calling yourself an "-antiflag-democrat"? Do you have some issues with the flag's color scheme or something?

since our new friend apears to be away from his puter. It's got a link to www.antiflagdmcrt.tripod.com . When I tried to open it, I got an "illegal operation" error note that shut me down. But I did get a chance to see that our friend is a "liberal" ;-)

8. His site works for me.

On one of his pages is the beginning of a rant (with which I find some sympathy):
Young Liberal's Forum
I dont have to...

We know your kind...the ones with 3465782365783628906 flags and stickers of flags on your SUV, the ones who accuse rational people of being "unpatriotic" or "America haters"....yeah we know you real well...

Under Construction

It's a "birds of a feather" thing. I find myself eschewing psychopatriotic "feathers" as well.

The flag is a mutable symbol. Because it's mutable, it is beginning to symbolize something I find repugnant.

13. C'mon TN... Surely you jest...
Please? I hope?

IMO the US flag is symbolic of everything that demonstrates who we are SUPPOSED to be. A new world, a democracy, created by the people; for the people. An incredibly bold and new change from anything anyone had ever known or seen since our VERY primative precurser; The Roman Empire. And it arose from the ashes of the Revolutionary War like a Pheonix.

I am RIGHT beside you in feeling ashamed about our current foriegn policy(s) But why not pin the blame where it belongs? IMO what is happening now has nothing to do w/who we are ( aka "the flag" ). But who we are being FORCED against our wishes to be.

10. Try
www.varminthunters.com. Sorry, had to do it :-)

Though I don't agree with all the principles of the NRA, I do agree with the fundamental right of citizens to own firearms for self-defense and sport. You can try looking doing a search for the Brady gun control website, or the Violence Policy Center site. However, those sites are pretty much just as skewed and biased as the NRA, just in an opposite direction. This is one of those issues that gets polarized no matter how hard you try to keep it neutral.
