John Bolton, with horns >>>
Edited on Tue Mar-08-05 10:16 AM by Stephanie

Kinda creepy, no? This guy scares the crap out of me. George Bush just delights in giving the big F.U. to the UN, to Europe, to the middle class.

US President George W. Bush (news - web sites) has named self-confessed UN critic and hardline diplomat, John Bolton, pictured, as the new US ambassador to the United Nations (news - web sites)(AFP/File/Yoshikazu Tsuno)

1. Nice Job He Did in Korea, No?
Instead of Nobel Peace Prizes and progress towards disarmament, they're spitting mad and speeded up their nuclear prgram. And we won't even sit down at the negotiating table with them.

3. did you hear
Craig Crawford on the Imus Show this AM?

He and the pseudo-Nazi, Charles were agreeing that they sort of LIKE Bush's in-your-face, sitck-it-to-'em policy with Bolton and the judge nominations.

These guys are clueless.....

5. Come September when the Heads of State speak at the UN,
* will receive another embarrassing reaction to his presence amongst real international diplomats! Maybe this time the UN will all use one hand clapping or go to sleep:boring: while the (*) worst president in US history spews more lies. There is no continent on which * is welcome...

4. "Self-confessed UN critic"?
Edited on Tue Mar-08-05 10:42 AM by Spider Jerusalem
That's kind of like calling Winston Churchill a "self-confessed critic of Nazism". Bolton absolutely loathes the UN, and has said so on many occasions, even goiong so far as to say he refused to recognise its existence. Yet they call him a "critic".

Oh well....at least the BBC is still honest. The newsreader on BBC World last night referred to him as "an extreme right-wing ideologue".

And for some reason, I keep wanting to refer to him as "Notlob"...damn Monty Python...
