Shout out to Al Gore, he is often a lone voice screaming through the quiet
Edited on Tue Mar-08-05 04:14 AM by Melodybe
This post is in reguards to Tweety saying that Gore is not running in 2008. My question, "Why the FUCK would Al Gore choose to share that important info with some asshat like Chris Matthews!?!"

Just becaust Tweety implied Gore was his source doesn't mean it is. Have we learned nothing over the last 8 years? NEVER TRUST THE UN-NAMED SOURCE!!!!

Tweety actually admited that it was an un-named source in the broadcast. His inflection might be misleading but "thems the rules" and he isn't techniqually lying. Disreguard any pundint that does not give their source, they are just giving themselves an excuse to parrot their RW talking points.

Gore has been speaking out against the corporate media cartel since 2000. A lot of people here don't seem to give him credit for all that he has done since the election was robbed from him. He quickly figured out who the bad guys are and thankfully he has been speaking out for years. Just because no one in the CMC reported on it doesn't mean it didn't Gore has remained silent.

Since 2000 Gore has often been the lone voice screaming the truth. His speeches have been wonderful, smart, informative, they invoke Orwell and slam Bush.

He is smart enough to start his own news network, he is good enough to defend our nation and our constitution.

So shout out to Al Gore because there are plenty of democrats that actually appreciate what he has done for this country.

Seriously, where would we be if Gore hadn't had put money into developement of the world wide web?

Kick for Al Gore :kick:

2. I love Al!
He is the best president we never had -- and it pains me dearly to say that.

3. Hopefully you won't have to say that one day.
Here's to Al pulling of what Nixon shouldn't have.

4. Gore, I personally believe Tweety swiftboated you in 2000 because
he was voting for Bush. Why would you trust that sleazy, aging, container of cottage cheese?

6. Tweety...
... is talking out his ass. But you know what? It doesn't matter one bit. The more misinformation out there about what Dems are up to, the better.

Personally, I really admire Al Gore a lot. But as a matter of principle, I think Dems should get one shot at the presidency and that is all.

Mr. Gore is doing us all a lot of good right where he is.

7. I'd been hoping against hope that President-Elect Gore would...
...throw his well-worn hat into the 2008 ring. Given the grave environmental issues we face, he's shown himself to be one of the few who "gets it."

IMHO, Tweety was talking yet again out of his voluminous ass in regards to Gore's 2008 intentions - I find it difficult that Gore would bow out only months after the last debacl... er, I mean "election..."

8. I love Al too...
He has earned my trust, admiration, and respect. I'm still in shock from the 2000 SElection. It would be wonderful to have him as our leader, restoring our image around the world, representing us honorably. Wouldn't THAT be a nice change?....ahhh...
