I doubt it was used as armor. However, I have no doubt they dug a pit, threw it in there, poured gasoline into it, and burned it to a shell of what it was. That was done yesterday at the latest.

ON EDIT: After burning it, they took a bulldozer and piled the dirt back onto it, its buried, quite literally, I'm sure.

2. There was a pic posted on another Sgrena thread this afternoon

...but frankly before I would even look at it or study it, I personally would want Sgrena herself to aver that this was indeed the car. It's not enough for the US to say that it's the car. I no longer believe a word from the US govt.

It's the one she was kidnapped from originally, or it could be random "file" footage. This was debunked this morning and the original source of the rumor (littlegreenfootballs) has retracted.

That's the only thing I'd seen all day (the car in that thread), and that particular vehicle seemed mighty damned clean.
