I love the media
Edited on Mon Mar-07-05 06:55 PM by AG78
It just pisses me off to no end.

If you can, catch the replay of Lou Dobbs tonight. Or at least the first 10 minutes or so. They cover the Bolton story, picking some issues here and there with Bolton, but never coming out and saying that he might be #2 on the nut pole, only behind Michael Ledeen.

But then they do a story on the Italian shooting in Iraq. Dobbs and the reporter go with the, "it's a communist "newspaper" report", angle to discredit the entire story. Then they have a British man from the Heritage Foundation, and another guy from what I assume is a RW think tank(something about media and fairness), saying that since it's an accusation against the US military, we have to consider that when trying to figure out the viability of the story.

I'm not bringing it up as a surprise from the media. I'm fully aware that they're not on the human side. But if you're in the mood to throw something at the TV around 11pm tonight(or whenever Dobbs has a replay of his show), I suggest you watch.

3. Now Matthews is doing it
Or at least Tom Aspell is, as he reports from Iraq. It's just the rantings of an anti-war, anti-American journalist who was just confused from being let go shortly before the shooting.

4. Bill Richardson was doing something like that
on the Today show this morning. He said something like "We shouldn't even consider that the military did this on purpose."
