This last campaign, I went to a Democratic gathering where we had a booth that clearly labeled us as Democrats. Every now and then, someone would drive by, scream an obscenity and throw an empty beer can at us. I asked, "What the hell was that about?" and it was explained to me that out of however many Repugs who drive by a normally trafficed road, around four or five will throw shit at you.

I think we should start doing that. Any time we see a Republican, just throw something at them: rotten vegetables, garbage, anvils - use your imagination! It's time to start dishing as much as we're taking.

We've got nasty freeper frat boys here in Georgia. At election time they roam about in their jeeps ripping up Democratic yard signs. I've often thought about coating the signs with oil and poision ivy or maybe wiring a metal sign frame to a nearby electric farm fence. I'm going to have an arsenal ready by the 2006 election. Damn frat boys.

I'll stick with poison ivy oils. I've got access to a huge patch of the stuff. I did battle with sign stealers during the last election. They are relentless. We had numerous backup signs. The signs would only last one or two days and they would be replaced by three or four Republican signs. Mind you, this all happened on private property.

25. Stop accepting ANY bad behavior from ANY politician

When a political party or their politicians do something bad... announce them for the monsters they are Hell, they demonize us no matter what we do, we should be the party that lives up to the way we should be.


That means we speak softly, firmly, truthfully and don't back down. Hold our politicians to the standards they try to hold to everyone else.

When we see them do something bad we need to make it a huge stink, make sure it's seen since the media won't show it.

We need to call an orange an orange or in this case, call monsterous overbearing fasctist cheerleaders who cheat just what they are.

We, the people, must demand, completely transparent politics.

Transparent politics doesn't mean a 24/7 webcam watching the President and our leaders open to the internet. It does mean that they have to record and make available their policy meetings and the like. We deserve to know who is asked and who is making the claims.

We the people must demand that we stop feeding a military machine with so much money that we can take 15% of it's money away and still be spending 25 times what all the rest of the world is putting into it. That with that 15% we can go to the moon and mars, pay for it with cash, end our deficit and fund education and all the other social programs that we've tossed to the wayside.

We are the people who make up the United States, the country is ours to love, but sometimes it needs to be slapped on the butt to keep it in the right direction.
