BIGOTRY IS NOT A MORAL VALUE!!!
Sorry to yell, but if you read about the Kansas RW'ers who are mobilizing and using moral values as a banner then that means you have read this:

"A key concern for the Christian groups is next month's vote on a constitutional amendment that would not only ban same-sex marriages -- already prohibited by Kansas law -- but also prohibit any relationship other than a married man and woman from receiving benefits associated with marriage, such as shared health insurance."

How is this moral?

How is this compassionate?

How is this good?

How is this love?

Is this something Jesus would do?

I'm a Muslim and I have to say that the Christian Right is no doubt the biggest insult to Christians everywhere and not to mention Jesus himself.

And you know what? The Christian Right is not even Christian. They are an insult to Christianity. How dare these people even be called Christian. Mark up another similarity between the Christian Right and Al Qaeda, they are both slanderous to the religion that they proclaim to be adherents of.

The Christian Right isn't Christian and they can't even be called Conservative. I know true Conservatives and I like them, I may disagree with them, but I like them. The Christian Right, they are just a bunch of false Christian, false Conservative, hateful, Neo-Nazi, fascist Bigots.

May God have mercy on the souls of the leaders of the Christian Right.

Satanists (Who worship themselves) act like Christians (doing good and honest things for folks.) And Christians (Who call themselves Christians but are really psychotic, brainwashed, murders) behave like hollowood's version of Satanist(Which is a baby chopping/burning un verifiable load of dung.)

It's all propaganda.

Good thing we have freedom of religion.

But we won't have that soon if we don't fix

THIS!! ;o)

3. personally, I'm not hoping they get any mercy at all
I'm sincerely hoping they get their own faces rubbed in that crap - you know, a constitutional amendment forcing right wingers to kiss our shiny pink buttocks every Tuesday in public before 10:00 a.m. would do nicely.

5. I'll tell you

It's moral if helping others is a good thing. Since helping them from going to hell is a "worthy endeavor," it is also compassionate. This shows love and is a good thing.

This is what they'll tell you. Don't mistake me for endorsing these views. Whether people are homo or hetero is really of no concern to me. What's more important is what you do with your life as a whole. As long as you hurt no one else and as long as the relationship is built on mutual trust and love, I have no problem with same-sex couples.

These are days where I question where I stand on religion. I'm on the verge of leaving the Christian faith because I'm saddened at the ignorance, bigotry, and sheer hypocrisy I see of many Christians. I question many parts of the Bible.

What keeps me from taking down the cross off my wall and the cross around my neck is the message Jesus tried to spread: Love, acceptance, peace, charity, and forgiveness. These are the five pillars I believe in.

Gandhi once said that he liked Jesus Christ but that he didn't like Christians. He said Christians were not the same as Christ, and I'm inclined to agree.

7. Evidently, bigotry is a "Christian" value.
At least this is what I am gathering from the fundamentalist republicans.
