Hollow Words from a Hollow Man
Bush is preaching Democracy while in Iraq, one Bush's achievements, people may lose the right to play Chess. I wonder what Bush is really planning, come on people, do you really think he is concerned with the spread of Democracy? Do you honestly think that people in 4 years will throw off their troubles that have lasted for decades if not centuries? How can Bush be about spreading democracy?

The Bush Administration:

Is one of the most secretive in American history

Caters to the Theocrats in America

Receives support from the people who make the machines we use to vote

Tell me, how is this Democratic?

Not only is the Bush Administration exporting jobs, they are also exporting our values. We are becoming less free, they are becoming more 'free'. They build a wall of separation between religion and state there, the Bush Administration is tearing it down here. Not that it's wrong to do it in other countries, but we are becoming more like an Authoritarian Dictatorship every day while at the same time we took down two in war. Even the Freepers should be able to point out that Irony.

Democracy in the Middle East and Bush. It seems to be a Utopian idea. But, in reality it would be a Bushtopian idea. And, we all know how silly Bush's ideas are. I just hope these 'Democratic' leaders that will soon surely enter into the fray like in places such as Lebanon aren't the same as the Shaw in Iran. Because, we all know what came out of that.

Democracy is a beautiful idea, perhaps the most wonderful that humanity has created. I just hope the idea of Democracy won't join up with the 'No Child Left Behind' Act and the 'Clear Skies' Initiative and simply become doublespeak for something insidious.
