Will Al Gore be a candidate for President of the U.S. in 2004?

I will not be responding to this thread (except for kicks), but to see what I think, see this thread. I'm just curious what DU as a whole thinks.

Remember, this is WILL Gore run, not SHOULD Gore run.

In the current situation, I'd say no, but if circumstances change (candidate(s) drops out, Bush does something incredibly stupid), then I wouldn't rule out him getting in.

I took him at his word when he said he wouldn't run. Unlike Bush, Gore means what he says. I still consider Gore my rightful president, in any event. :-)
