TLC in Canada in running 9/11 - The President's story
with a completely different timeline than I'm used to. I'll see if it's on again later.

They're making a hero out of Cheney for staying in the Whitehouse.

2. They showed the security camera footage
of the plane hitting the Pentagon. You can clearly see lots of debris flying over the building.

9. This was written by some right wing idiot...
I saw the writer on some show and the commentator basically came out and said the show was "fiction" - they also asked the writer how he knew what REALLY happened on 9/11. When the guy said that he was given the info by the White House - the commentator said "And you believe it?"

11. Air Force one turned along the gulf coast
Dubya says "I knew we were at war". Still no justification as to why Cheney was in charge.

TV cutting out, communications cutting out to the Vice President, Dubya banging on desk. But magically he was able to call his father and mother. Bullshit.

13. Credible threat against the airplane
"Suspect airliner dead ahead." I've never heard any of this before. Dubya: I wanted to come back to Washington...I wanted to be in the capitaol but it was impossible for me to come back. So, air force one went to an underground bunker in Nebraska.

14. Needed to hide the most visible plane in the world
So they just flew across the country with no flight plan. Showing pictures of F16's right next to Air Force 1

15. "The american people wanna know where their dang president is"
Dubya ordered Air Force 1 to land somewhere within 30 minutes. that's why they landed at Barksdale. Dubya felt he was looking bad.

18. Mr. Bush had had enough
"I don't want a tin-horn terrorist to keep me out of Washington". "I couldn't wait to get back". "I had time to think and a couple of thoughts emerge. I knew these terrorists." Of course he did. He did business with them.

"No distinction between terrorists and those who harbor them." "You're with us or against us." Dubya says he didn't want to talk about war that day. (incidentally, this contradicts what was said earlier in the program)

22. It's actually good entertainment and somewhat emotional
But full of bullshit, I somehow don't believe that there was a plan on the president's desk on September 10th to take out Bin-Laden and Al-Quaeda.
