"Liberal Values, American Values" online video I directed.
Know any moderates who don't understand liberal values?

That webpage lets people play a video I directed (about four minutes) titled "Liberal Values, American Values."

I expanded the video today to include a list of liberal victories.

The first liberal victory mentioned is the acquittal of publisher John Peter Zenger on charges of sedition-and-libel in 1734. Zenger's newspaper had criticized the governor of colonial New York.

The jury found Zenger's criticism to be true, and acquitted the publisher. The well-publicized trial helped solidify colonial concerns about Freedom of Speech, and these concerns ultimately led to the First Amendment.

The video's list of liberal victories continues into the 21st century.
