How has MSNBC not been shut down already?
I'm just curious. I mean, their ratings are horrible, which is sad, frankly, because Olbermann is the greatest cable news (network) show on TV.

CABLE NEWS RACE
TUES. MARCH 1, 2005

FNC O'REILLY 2,304,000
FNC HANNITY/COLMES 1,704,000
FNC GRETA 1,615,000
COMEDY DAILY SHOW 1,396,000
CNN LARRY KING 1,364,000
CNN AARON BROWN 842,000
CNN ZAHN 542,000
CNNHN NANCY GRACE 405,000
E! JACKSON TRIAL 403,000
MSNBC OLBERMANN 314,000
MSNBC SCARBOROUGH 208,000

1. And yet....
DU chicken little's go into a panic over everything said on these stupid shows.

Even O'Reilly's ratings stink when viewed in the big picture of TV.

2. "Hardball" is a sleeper. Chris Matthews hasn't even begun kissing Bush's
ass with the gusto in which he trashed the Clintons. Stay tuned.

13. MSNBC serves the same purpose as the Moonie Times. Push propaganda
from BushInc with only a semblance of political dissent. Profit is not their goal anymore.

Gates and GE make their money on OTHER ventures and just USE the NBC networks to make sure they control the story on political power in this country.

3. KO's audience is growing
(like Donahue's was growing as well...)

I'll bet he'll be topping some of the CNN shows soon, if they let the growth continue.

And look at the number four show on the list - :D

btw, drudge posts these numbers on his site, without even a source. I'm not saying that makes them untrue, but the old saying "consider the source" is always there when discussing anything from that moron.

7. And Faux and CNN are turning into MJ trial central as well
All BS news, all day, every day. People who want (and get) real news don't even turn on the TV any more.

Monk 3,840,000
WWE (wrestling) 3,572,000
Fairly Odd Parents 3,388,000
SpongeBob 3,226,000

is that why they want to shut him down?

6. Do not trust those #s
KO is pulling in huge #s. And it is a demographic that the advertisers love.
MSNBC is about money. If KO is pulling in money he will stay.

Those #s might be like Gallup poll #s, Iraqi voter %s, vote totals in Ohio,
and the swift boat fellas ...... pure Rove bullshit

9. I guess because
the others aren't on cable. People get Fox I think without having to have cable. Does MSNBC do a lot of advertising? O'Reilly has his radio show as well. Does Hannity have one?

12. How pathetic that FOX brings in that many viewers
Wow. Astounding commentary to the base ignorance of the American people.

Christ I'm glad I don't live in that country anymore.
