4. Wants to destroy social security
5. Killing our right to fillibuster
6. Turns a blind eye to voter disenfranchisement
7. Outsources most middle-class jobs
8. Legislates religious beliefs/prejudices
9. Sends our youth to fight an unjust war, then lies about it.
10. Destroying the United States good reputation abroad
11. Totally bankrupts our country with gargantuan debt
12. Destroying our saftety by our war in Iraq
13. Trying to reverse Roe vs. Wade
14. Corruption of the media.

4. We're idiots

Americans are stupid and I'm one of them. We let Christians live in this nation too long. Now they run the Republicans, our government, our media, and soon our lives if we're allowed to live.

Our educational system is based on teaching factory workers, not scholars and scientists. Most people in this nation, with the highest book publications, don't read or can't read past 8th grade (typical for my area). We want simple answers for simple minds. No one wants to think anymore. We lead ourselves to our own graves by Christians and they will bury us deep.

I'd like to thank Christians for their hatred of us for being non-Christian, raised in blue states (we're godless), deny us a proper high school education (my mom had 2 strokes and I'm a sinner?), denying us jobs if we attended a college that teaches evolution (it's anti-god!), and collapsing our economy so you can blame gays, liberals, etc for destroying your "Christian nation" just so you can set up a theocracy to kill anyone different from you. "You're going to hell!" is the motto and they will guarantee it. If I hae to hear that one more time for buying a Linux magazine....

They are still engaged in torturing prisoners, and they admit it. Nobody in this country seems to really care about it, either.

No empire lives forever. They all thought they could though.

The American Revolution; as it turns out, it was a fight for the right to build...our own empire one day.

Civil Rights; as it turns out, it was a fight for the right to vote...for tax cuts.

So maybe that last one is a bit too cynical. Then again, that green piece of paper does make people do odd things. Although if you have a reason to vote for tax cuts, then technically that is freedom and democracy.

If anything, it is supposed to happen in America.

I'm 26, and one of the young people that have a fine future to look forward to.

I know why it's not supposed to happen. I'm not saying I want that list of events to occur. I'm an idealist as well. But I also know it won't last. I know it can't last. I know that people have to get together and fight power, because all power wants to do is expand. Power expanding is how we end up with empires.

And I'm glad you feel sorry for someone who has grown up under 3 Republican Presidents, and one centrist administration. I feel sorry for me too.
