i just heard this on CNN but not all the details

1. The Repubs plan to do away with the Democrats' ability to block Bush's

judges. He sees it as a pure power grab that will give the President even more power than he already has. Its another move down the slippery slope of dictatorship.

2. bushCartel are using Hitler's technique of changing the law to make

what they want to do -formerly illegal and USC violations- now legal.

Hitler never violated Germany's laws; he got the laws changed as needed so he always had that veneer of legality.

He started with the Enabling Act (compare to bush's "Patriot" Act, same shit) and went on from there. That's what bush is doing.

A very prime example; remember all the promises from bush and Ashcroft et al that the PA would NEVER be used against ANYONE except terraists???

As we all know now, coz bush & Ashcroft et al have even publicly admitted it, the PA is in fact being used to go after copyright violators (StarGate webmaster) and drug pushers and a whole slew of petty thieves and whatnot, NONE of whom have anything whatsoever to do with terrorism.

But guess what? The PA is now THE LAW. And it can be and is being used against anyone for any reason the US govt wants to use it against.

And THAT is EXACTLY how Hitler did it.
