1. I love Canada..............
it's so refreshing to have a sane neighbor to the north.

"This is further evidence of Washington's deep displeasure with Canada's decision to opt out of the U.S. ballistic missile defense program".

What this actually is evidence of, is bush's hissy-fit temperament where, if he doesn't get his way, all contact is broken off, he takes his ball and goes home. I'm SOOOOOO glad the "adults" are in charge again. :eyes:

I hope Martin sticks to his guns and doesn't back down to this petty tyrant. Someone has to have the guts to say, NO, to this juvenile delinquent. Thanks Canada! We love you! :hi:

5. It's just another case of the new WH "reality..."
If they lived in ANYTHING approaching the REAL WORLD, they could have figured out that Martin holds a slim majority in a MINORITY government and any move towards BMD would probably lead to defeat in Parliament and a possible vote of no-confidence...in short, political suicide...

When will they GROW UP?

6. Ahhh, but they would like nothing BETTER than to have Martin
and the Liberals fall, they would then work to try and get the repub-lite faux Conservatives in. Harper would be another poodle for bush if he ever got in which he won't.

8. Exactly. I am sure Martin wishes Bush would cancel the meeting with
him & Fox. All meetings with Bush do - is hurt Martin. But Bush likely knows that.

2. It's time for Shrub and Boots to get over it. Canada is a free country,
unlike some others we know.

3. LOL, When they are mad at us, I KNOW we did the right thing...
To be honest, I couldn't care less if they EVER set foot in Canada.

I saw in the National Post that the US might delay appointing a new Ambassador to Canada as punishment, ROFLMAO. Like Cellucci was a good thing to Canada, the man was an embarrassment to his country and ours. Having no Ambassador to Canada is an improvement over Cellucci and whoever bush would appoint because I suspect they will also parrot bush and inappropriately interfere in Canada's internal affairs as did Cellucci.

9. All of CANADA is angry at Bush for being such an ***HOLE!
Dissing the UN. Making fun of multilateralism. Pooing on the Geneva Convention. Supporting strong men for decades and then "taking them out" as if it the past could all be erased in one grand historical moment. Not supporting Kyoto. Not supporting the International Criminal Court. Representing the needs of elites. Encouraging their supporters to be 1)weak 2) stupid.

Goes on and on and on.

10. Good God. They're acting like a couple of 13 year olds.
Like, oh my god, I was like "Paul Martin, you should make Canadians spend their tax dollars on our waycool Star Wars program" and he was all like "no way, man, that's just a waste of money" so I'm like "see if I ever call you again." What-ever.

11. Bush & Co.
Should be on the look out for blow back.
The missile and trade issues could bring Martin a majority in Parliament.

16. And democracy; they REALLY hate Canada's democracy.
The only thing bush & Cartel like is other nations asking SIR HOW HIGH SIR when bush & Cartel order them to jump.

Funny how bush & Cartel think that's "democracy".

Isn't that how little kids act? Adults know that you don't give in to the schoolyard bully.
