Bloggers are again doing what the Old Media will not, that is, giving me an opportunity to answer questions without editing, filtering or interpretation. Therefore, I am granting interviews to both conservative and liberal bloggers.

The Old Media still doesn't get it. Dick Polman, a political analyst for the Philadelphia Inquirer promotes the idea that Gannongate is part of a larger conspiracy by the Bush administration to manipulate the news. In "White House stirs debate on media tactics," Polman demonstrates that those of his ilk who have dominated the media for decades cannot grasp that there could be possibly be an independent, conservative journalist. Is that because those on his side are unabashed operatives themselves?

Let's get it straight, Jeffy. You are a total moron who had no more business in White House press conferences than the homeless guy sleeping on the street a few blocks away. Your 500 "articles" were mainly reprinted press releases, and so valuable that they were scrubbed from the site, which promptly closed down. You are not a journalist, and your cute little thing about "investigating" journalists is total bullshit. Every journalist in the White House goes through an in-depth background investigation, and even day pass holders get a good long look. The White House is the most secure location in the world, and they don't let people in there unless they know exactly who they are. You were allowed in as a means of controlling the press, one of many tools. The Bushies are VERY happy to attempt to discredit all journalists by pretending that they consider YOU a journalist.
