and you would be surprised about the number of us who are ordained. There was a thread asking about that months ago. It was sorta amazing. Pretty spiritual grounp around here. We may come up shy on those who mouth religion but do not walk with it.

I don't recall seeing a thread that says that all Christians are bad. I know when Jerry Falwell calls somebody a good Christian, then I am suspicious. There certainly are some Christians who will tell you that you can't be a good person unless you are a Christian. Indeed thay use the words Christian and good synonymously, insulting to non-Christians, who don't think any religion has a monopoly on goodness.

I know some Christians who are good people. I know some Christians who are bad people, and all shades in between. I don't believe I've seen the threads you mention. My biggest objection to Christians is that many of them believe that they have to convert everybody to their way of thinking. I find that idea in any religion to be odious.

We can't see into someone else's heart or head. I would never tell someone they didn't believe what they claim to believe, I can only take their word for it. So I would never say Osama Bin Laden isn't a real Muslim or that Fred Phelps isn't a real Xian. But I don't judge other Muslims or Xians by the actions of Bin Laden or Phelps.
