Can somebody sum up the Gannon / Gosch thing?

Friends, I've got really slow dial-up and this homework ain't gonna take care of itself - so can anybody get me up to speed on whatever this Gannon / Gosch hoopla is in about three or four paragraphs? I can't get around to reading four different 300+ post threads right now, but my enquiring mind still wants to know.

1. Because Gannon is a male prostitute,

people made a connection to the Franklin cover-up.

The Franklin cover-up had to do with a public outing of a Nebraska-based sex & pedophilia ring which, among other things, provided prostitutes to the Reagan/Bush White House.

Because of the pedophilia angle, speculation about Gosch (a 1982 victim of child abduction) popped up in one of the Gannon threads.

Then the speculation went on without limits, even to the point where people speculated that Gosch and Gannon are the same person. There is absolutely no evidence to support this speculation.

That being said, the Franklin cover-up is a huge, ugly, evil, nasty reality which needs to be turned inside out, by any means possible.
