Bush to Canada, "F &*% You!!!"
On Thursday Canada wisely announced that it has decided not to participate in a U.S. missile defense system. Later the *ush administration said in essence "Fuck you Canada, we're going to play with our phony defense system over your airspace whether you like it or not!" Sorry Canadiens :(

U.S. will deploy missiles
U.S. says it will still fire over Canada
By ALEXANDER PANETTA

OTTAWA (CP) - The United States will decide when to fire missiles over Canadian airspace whether Canada likes it or not, says America's ambassador.

The blunt warning from Paul Cellucci came minutes after Prime Minister Paul Martin announced Thursday that he will not sign on to the controversial U.S. missile defence program. "We will deploy. We will defend North America," Cellucci said.

"We simply cannot understand why Canada would, in effect, give up its sovereignty - its seat at the table - to decide what to do about a missile that might be coming toward Canada."

The warning was no slip of the tongue - Cellucci repeated several times that Canada's decision had handed over some of its sovereignty to the U.S.

1. Does ANYONE in this administration know the definition of "sovereign"?
Edited on Fri Feb-25-05 12:22 PM by aden_nak
Apparently, Bush thinks sovereign means, uh, sovereign, since he doesn't know. But this asshole seems to think that sovereignty means a "seat at the table" or inclusion in a larger group.

sov·er·eign·ty:

1. Supremacy of authority or rule as exercised by a sovereign or sovereign state.
2. Royal rank, authority, or power.
3. Complete independence and self-government.
4. A territory existing as an independent state.

What they did was to assert their sovereignty by saying that a foreign nation does not have permission to operate experimental militarty weaponry in their airspace. Sounds like a sovereign nation to me.

And perhaps the Canadians, if faced with the notion of a missile headed towards their nation, would rather not rely on a system that we can't even get to boot up, let alone hit its target when said target is afixed with a homing beacon.

5. Professor Bush on Sovereignty
".... sovereignty means that, it's sovereign. You're a -- you're a -- you have been given sovereignty and you're viewed as a sovereign entity."

15. No, no, no, no... You're reading it wrong.
Independence is the 4th definition of sovreignity. The three previous definitions are all about supreme power and authority, and royalty.

He's saying he doesn't understand why the Canadians won't acknowledge Shrub to be their Sovereign Leader and Authority when everyone knows he is the Supreme Leader of the Christian World. He's complaining that the Canadians are rejecting Shrub's Divine Right to rule the world as he sees fit. Such a stance is incomprehensible to the faithful.

8. it's a southern saying that
"you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar"

Apparently, strong-arming is the only tactic this psycho administration knows.

Here's a newsflash you stupid motherfuckers in the White House: you're acting like a bunch of childish petulant passive aggressive southern belles! Jeezus - it's global Lord of the Flies, with the brat king leading the charge.

9. How many years 'til Amero-Canadfian Anschulss? What form will it take?
The answers should be entertaining, except that it is coming. Almost 100% certainty.

Why? Simply this: Throught histories, Tyrannical, unfree nations like Imperial Amerika is transforming into have NEVER TOLERATED a Free Nation like Canada on it's borders for obvious reasons.

Imperial Amerika is still near the beginning of this transformation, and Tyranny has yet to fully "trcikle-down" into our daily lives.

When THAT finally happens, perhaps as late as 2030 (but likely much sooner), Canada better watch herself.

Because The Nazi to your South is coming to rape and destroy you just as he did to Lady Liberty in 2000.

10. Canada to bush, "Fuck Off"
Paul Martin insists U.S. must consult Canada before firing missiles

sniip

The top American envoy to Canada - Paul Cellucci - says Canada would be "outside of the room" while the U.S. decided whether to fire at incoming missiles.

But Martin said Friday: "We would expect to be consulted.

"This is our airspace, we're a sovereign nation and you don't intrude on a sovereign nation's airspace without seeking permission."

17. At least Inuit can now sue the asses off of the USA when they kill them
If Canada had joined missile defence - the missiles would still be shot down over the Canadian north & we would not have been able to sue. The manufacturere on the missile technology are going to have to think about that when they 'design' the system.

18. How can Cellucci say Canada is conceding sovereignty
Edited on Fri Feb-25-05 03:02 PM by Minstrel Boy
by refusing to comply to US demands?

What's the worth of a "seat at the table" if you're only welcome when you say "Yes"?
