Whatever happened to the idea of a DIABETES Group?

6. I have a star and I have....

diabetes, and today my Dr. told me I have lung cancer.. so I would support such a group. Whatever I can do to alleviate the conditions that are inherent with Type 2 Diabetes would make me feel like my personal experience has not been in vain. I have done a lot of research and would be more than happy to share my findings with others. As for the cancer, I am not surprised as I knew something was wrong. I cannot have surgery as I also have congestive heart failure.. so take advantage of my offer..time could be a limiting factor!

I'm wondering if we can't really do it, though, as threads get locked for giving medical advice. I wonder if we'd have to have a forum disclaimer?
