I didn't even notice that at first glance, but after reading your comment and looking again... There's an evenly distributed light glow almost outlining his head. Now, I'm in the graphics business and know what can happen when photographers or production people work with filters to sharpen, unsharp mask, etc. But it is something only on *'s head. Weird.

in this picture, Laura's skirt sorta stands out, but the rest of her just seems to fade away....maybe this is deliberate: maybe she wants to fade into the background. Notice how the eye is drawn to Mrs. G. instead.

Her outfits actually seem to be better made, but the colors just don't suit her. Now, this one wouldn't look bad on the right woman - someone with a darker complexion, maybe, and some flair. Laura would look much better in darker colors.
