the cartoon Pinky and the Brain? For those who've never seen it, Pinky and the Brain are two mice who plan to take over the world. Brain is the smart one and Pinky is the dumb one. LOL guess who would be pinky and who would be brain!

3. Problem with that analogy

The Brain's efforts usually collapse on an X factor.

Except once, when he managed to arrange it that the world's dominant species was mice. Unfortunately, the X factor was that the mice that evolved were from Pinky's strain, not the Brain's, and he went back in time to undo the mess.

Besides, Brain was likable. You think Cheney is? NOT! Narf!

(BTW, I do a fairly good Pinky voice; along with Marvin the Martian and Yoda/Grover/Miss Piggy)
