Why didn`t you go to Iraq instead of Afghanistan? Maybe it would do you good to go out in the field with the troops on one of their missions. Since you avoided the draft and didn`t serve your country, don`t you think you should experience what a solider feels like when a bullet flies over his head? Would it not help you to continue your drum beat for war if you actually saw a solider get shot and die right in front of you? I bet you would shit your pants. You would be crying for your mommy. You will never know the horrors of war staying behind the safe walls of a compound. But yet when you return next week you will tell everyone how great they are doing and how brave they are. And how they are proud to fight to keep America free. That part is true but we didn`t need you to tell us that.
Yes Rushie, your life will be the same when you get back. But the lives of all the troops over there will be changed forever. Some of them will never be tormented by the war because they are dead. For them the torment is over. But then you would not know anything about that would you.
