2. Good to know he was respectful of Kerry's private life.
That fucking hypocrite.

He tried to push a bullshit story about a man's private life in an attempt to bring him down and ruin his life, but when someone exposes his public past he cries foul.

19. The Hypocrite Party.
I must say.

In order to be a patriot, you must support your President. Dissenting against a political majority is "hate-America speech."

Unless, of course, the President is Bill Clinton and the political majority are Democrats. Obviously! Anyone with a brain would realize that! --over-acted sarcasm steams over and extinguishes gas burner...--

Social security is the liberal's great money-laundering scam... which is precisely why we must be responsible and plan to "save it." Never mind our current federal debt - SOCIAL SECURITY WILL BE BROKE IN 40 YEARS!

It's just inappropriate to call an important and highly-respected government official like Condi Rice a liar! Unless, of course, the government official is Joseph Wilson, the President Bill Clinton, or Ted Kennedy.

I could write a whole book filled with just little paragraphs like that. In fact, maybe I should. Oh wait, I think Ann Coulter already did it. But she was serious.

4. I wonder what his connection to the Swift Boat Liars was/is??
It almost seems as if all of these guys are linked together. Further speculation -- macho clients of Gannon?

Further it would be interesting if the most anti-gay administration in history is also run by self loathing gays.

Shrinks are going to have a field day in the future when the secrets emerge -- someone will know the secrets -- keep a secret diary with proof. The blackmail photos and tapes will turn up in a safe deposit box -- long forgotten.

By then the America we know will be long gone -- other powers rushing in the fill the evil void.

This Gannon in the WH press corp was spotted ages ago by posters to DU -- as a Freeper -- the Freeper's own who was asking softball questions -- was the theme of several posts. Plus -- something is not right about this "reporter" -- so many people knew that there was something wrong. But the real reporters -- just let this story slide.

How much did they know and when did they know it? (Fill in the "they" with the villain of your choice.)

18. Try This On...
"Gannon" ---> Talon/GOOPUSA ---> Bobby Eberle ---> Purple Heart Bandages at RNC Convention.

Plus there's lots of names that intersect among a small group of "media consultant" such as Eberle, Morton Blackwell, the dude who worked with O'Neill & the Slime Boaters, Rutherford Institute and many other groups.

Now if we pushed the media to shed some lights on these rats, methinks you'd see some plumbers instead.

20. Support the Troops!
Support our men and women who risked their lives for our country... no matter what. Unless, of course, those men happen to be John Kerry or Max Cleland, in which case, "Mock the Troops!" Don't stop there. Mock the fact they risked their life for our country.

BUT HOW DARE YOU insult Bush's military record. He loyally served our country... something you liberals know nothing about! (Honestly, it's so out of hand it's appalling.)

Sorry. I couldn't help myself.

That whole episode is illustrative of why they needed Guckert in the "real press" to launder stories for them. It showed the limitations of his predecessor, Matt Drudge. If you recall that "scandal" was put out from basically one source, the Drudge Report. Limbaugh and the rest of the radio loudmouths jumped on it, but the real press didn't because it couldn't be confirmed from a real source. There was much wringing of hands for a few days, with the press running some process stories about "when does a story become a story". Ultimately though, they refused to repeat the story and it died a quiet death. It became much better for them to have stories like the Rather Documents broken, not by Drudge, but by the "Washington Bureau Chief of Talon News".

But the additional revelations convinced me he is below the amoeba.

8. Funny - it never even happened.
The woman in question hardly knew him, and acknowledged there had never been any affair. This story never got off the ground, because no affair ever happened. And funny, but, the election is over - why are the Repukes still campaigning against Kerry?

You'd think he was President or something.

Oh, wait. Technically....

I think I know why Gannon is being such a little bitch. He begged Kerry to let him Lewinsky his giant Liberal wang and Kerry said "Hell no, Rove told me you're all teeth."

He's feeling rejected and fussy. Poor thing.

Ahem.

He couldn't have been smart enough to think of all of this bullsh*t himself. He was spoonfed propaganda and then spewed it back out.

and now gannon's reply about scott

To: estpeter

Not only do I look at him, I talk to him. The problem with Bush's staff is the media's portrayal of them.

He is also staicking up for Scott here

To: ken5050

Scott does a good job. He is knowledgeable and stays on message - not an easy task under very hostile and agenda driven questioning by the DNC shills in the White House Press Corps.

His purpose isn't to provide soundbites, it's to provide information.

In an election year, the political soundbites should come from the RNC or the campaign.

Now he's having an intern affair? Or was the intern male? Hard keeping up with what's supposedly going on.
