I need some help with a number?
I was ranting about the $280 BILLION +++ spenting so far on Iraq/Afganistan war. How much does the US spend in humanitarian aid to 3rd world countries per year?

2. Is that pittance
typical against the monstrous $280 BILLION? What good could we have done to humanity with this kinda money? Clean water, basic food, shelter and health care. What a waste, I'm sick.:puke:

5. It won't work against them, unless you're trying to anger them.
The way they see it, we wouldn't have had to spend that money if we hadn't been attacked. They don't understand that the vast majority of the world's human population was looking forward to a few decades of relative peace. When they say 9/11 changed everything, that's what they mean: kill as many of "them" as possible, no matter what the cost. The "them" there takes on many different forms, of course.
