Man, I could feel the breeze from "Gannon's" eyelashes through the TV set.

4. He's wearing bush's bulge, dammit!
It's that same audio prompter bush uses. Rove is in the dressing room feeding him words to speak.

6. did he take coaching from George W. Bush?
"In the second debate Bush was blinking his eyes at a furious rate. Rapid eye blinking has been associated in the medical literature <15> with mental tasks such as memory use and speech, as well as with clinical states such as dry eyes, tardive dyskinesia, Tourette syndrome, schizophrenia, autism, and combined depression and sleep deprivation <10>. (More generally, eye blinking has been described as a useful clinical sign of central dopaminergic activity <15>.) Eye blinking can also increase when a person is lying or when in uncomfortable or unpleasant situations <14>. (For further examples, see Richard Nixon and George H. W. Bush.) Eye blink "storms," which Bush certainly had, have been described as "the mind's way of shutting out unpleasant stimuli" <14>."

9. Looking at his eye movements,
in addition to the rather rapid blinking, my take on it was that he was on a some sort of live feed.

Adding to that the cadence of his speech (and if you observed carefully, his rapid blinking spells seemed to match the timing of each new "phrase"). Typical behavior is to blink at the end of a phrase. Not so sure about rapid blinking...anxiety of course, a factor.

His hesitation before beginning to answer - the slight unnatural rhythm to his answers....notice the brief pauses between phrases?....the eyes darting around are a definite sign of attending to some other stimulus.

If not for the other behaviors I guess I would have said the blinking would signify "lying". But his speech only flowed freely in a few places...where the "prompt" was apparently something to the effect of "deny it". Or whatever...something that allowed him a free script, if only for just a moment.

For whatever it's worth, this is how I "read" what I saw.
