So when Jeff Gannon, White House "reporter" for Talon "News," was unmasked last week, the leap to a possible Rove connection was unavoidable. Creative Response Concepts is run by Greg Mueller, who himself has a long and interesting history and many dubious connections. We shouldn't jump on this yet. They're prepared for it to come out now. It should be dealt with while the gannon heat is still on, but they've let this information come out if it came out at all. I'd call it bait and switch, they strike us as conspiracy theorists when we could harm them most, so the best choice of action would be to highlight this with a less beneficial approach that could still hurt them. One they're unprepared for.

I don't know if we can trust CBS to cover this either. I think the administration pretty much owns their soul now that they put that story out and they knocked it down.
