Vladimir Putin: Iran Has NO Nuclear Weapons
MOSCOW(AP) Russian President Vladimir Putin said Friday that he is convinced Iran does not have nuclear weapons, and that he plans to visit Iran.

Putin also said Russia would continue its nuclear cooperation with Tehran. Moscow has helped Iran build a nuclear reactor, a project that has been heavily criticized by the United States, which fears it could be used to help Tehran develop nuclear weapons.

"The latest steps by Iran convinced us that Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons and we will continue to develop relations in all spheres, including the peaceful use of nuclear energy," Putin said at a meeting with Iranian National Security Council chief Hasan Rohani.

.......hhhhhmmmmmm, i thought dr. rice was an expert on russia and world affairs, she's going around the world telling everyone that Iran DOES have a nuclear weapons program and are a direct threat to us, and therefore regime changable, shock and awe-able, etc.

that dirty putin, i thought the president looked into his eyes and determined he had a good soul, but it turns out he's against us.
you're either with us or against us pootie, which one is it?

3. Putin's Pissed...
His buddy Bunnypants didn't cover his back in the Ukraine...and now all bets are off. Putin looked the other way when we let him run the show in the former USSR. Instead of lining up with him and immediate recognizing HIS Ukranians we, for one of the rare occasions, backed the people. Some friends we are.

4. Do I smell an arms race looming?
Perhaps our miserable failure of a missile defense shield will be needed to lure us into a false sense of security once again...

5. I see now a worldwide resistance shaping up to Bush's policies.
Russia under Putin has already formed an informal alliance with India, Brazil and China, first as an economic alliance. Then the Chinese and the Russians have formed a military alliance of sorts coordinating their strategies and invited both Brazil and India to join them.Russia says it now has a nuclear cruise missile capable of traveling at hypersonic speeds and releasing nuclear weapons on multiple targets. The European nations have started to support Iran and Venezuela as they try to diversify their oil markets away from the U.S.All of this tells that other nations are trying to send a message to Bush that he should avoid invading Iran like he did Iraq.

But like Pete Seeger sang on another March of Folly,"we are in the deep muddy and the big fool says to push on".

6. Has anyone claimed they now have them?
Even if it was true, who would believe us? Since the * Administration has next to zero credibility in the rest of the world after Iraq WMD, even their threats and bluster don't ring true.

By comparison to the Chimp gang, the Russians may seem almost benign and reliable. This is not good.
