1. depends...
I'm leaning towards no... but it depends on what happens. If things don't change, and barring a major terrorist attack from either country, I probably would not support an attack.

36. Let me help you with that lean.
If we bomb anybody again, well let's just put it this way, have you ever heard the saying "bend over and kiss your rosebud goodbye," because that is exactly what will happen to us. Iran and Syria are not like Iraq.

5. Wonder who voted for Iran?
Yeah, let's just march into Iran and watch as the Iraquis rise from behind and Iran resists.

Plus the possibility of nukes.

Not to mention, WTF has Iran done to us? Other than the ass-monkey's claim that they fund terrorism, like Pakistan and Saudi Arabia don't?

Edited on Thu Feb-17-05 03:42 PM by Vash the Stampede
They've got to either be lurking freepers or simply hate arabs.

Note: Yes I know Iranians are Persian. Most others don't though.

11. Iran is building a Nuclear weapon.
Some people think that gives someone the right to bomb the facility. Israel did that to Iraq in the 1980s.

28. I predicted a reply like yours...
Yes, some people think that it gives them carte blanc - oh, like the prick(s) in the WH.

USA is the only country to 'drop' a nuke and purposefully killed people - not a good mark on our score card.

Many many other countries have Nukes - Russia, India, who else (I just don't have the list in front of me). Should we go and 'get' them too?

I could be wrong... But it seems like before Jan 2000, the world was relatively at peace. Then bush comes to office and all of a sudden we have 'evil-doers' and 'outposts of tyranny'. This idiot goes around and singles out countries as 'evil'. And then attacks a nation who did no direct harm to us.

Countries are now building alliances against us. Why? Because we have a warmonger in office - the most evil president ever. They are simply protecting themselves against the madman we call *.

Impeach this moron out of office and the world will be safer.

40. the world wasn't at peace before 2000
by no stretch of the imagination: Chechnya, Palestine, the Congo, and a bit further back Rwanda and the Balkans. I doubt the world has ever been at peace. But there is no question Bush has made it worse, particularly for our own national security.

31. Well because these people are power mongers.
They are amoral, unfeeling profiteers that live in a very different world than you and I. To them the only things that matter are money and power and they have no qualms about obtaining it through methods that are illegal and unethical. I don't understand how anyone can be so callus and cavalier with the lives of others either but they have a proven track record of being just that. The thing that really bothers me is how apathetic most of the population is about these things, these guys should have been frogmarched out of the White House long ago.

Our deficit is skyrocketing, and the war and the tax cuts are the reasons why.
I realize Halliburton and the other Bush-Cheney cronies profit, but for most of us it's economically disastrous.

1) freeper trolls 2) Democrats who are very concerned about Israel's national security and think it is appropriate for the US to go to war to defend it.
I'd be interested in hearing other reasons.

27. This was all part of the neocon plan. I posted some time ago an article by
debkafile, which is supposedly connected to the Mosaad (Israeli intelligence). At the time everyone said that debka can not be trusted, yet at the time the MSM was only talking about Iran, people thought, oh no, bush is now beating the drums to attack Iran.
So here we are, a "co-incidental" attack in Lebanon, which gives bush the excuse to gather support. Considering rumsfeld's Special Ops operating all over the place, the only soundbyte on MSM coming from the intelligence hearing being: Al Caeda is ready to strike with nukes, the propaganda has started. I would not be surprised if this is all by design, just like Iraq.
We have to stop this insanity at all costs.

35. I won't support an invasion of Syria but I'd support an invasion of Poland
for strictly nostalgic reasons and an homage to the Nazis who's moeny Prescott Bush laundered

to the nazis who came here after DubyaDubyaTwo to join the Busheviks when they were headed by Dulles and Nixon

to the Nazis who served on the 1988 Bushevik Campaign's "Ethnic Outreach" programs

and just because it would lend a certain symmetry to the inheritors of the Good Germans, the Imperial Subjects of Amerika.

Go get 'em, Bushler! And don't forget to send in some Amermacht in Polish uniforms to create a fake provocation!
