Nancy Salvato, GOPUSA, Prism Educational Consulting/Poss. Payola Candidate
I was trying to do some research on this person and came across this website. I think this woman is a great candidate for the payola scandal.

I invite anyone who can gather up some stuff on her to do it. This is as far as I can take it.

"Note This is the concluding paragraph of an ugly screed. I added the author identification, which I found interesting as well as scary.

Just as the commitment of our country to waging the war on terrorism is undermined by the likes of Teddy Kennedy or John Kerry every time their political rhetoric is interpreted to mean our country is waffling from defending our way of life from those who would put our citizens in harms way, the education of our children is undermined when NCLB, passed with bipartisan support is mischaracterized as unfunded and taking away local control of the schools. Schools lost their local control a long time ago when the unions took over. NCLB threatens the union cash cow. And the Democrats need the unions to keep the money coming in. And so it goes.

very promising. Resume sounds shady enough to be a payola pundit.

2. With all of her spewing about NCLB and she writes for GOP USA
and she works for an educational consulting company, which has no website that I can find!

I agree, I think she is a great candidate!

But this is as far as I can go! I don't have the skills to go any further!

Someone take it and run!

Raging Against the anti-NCLB Propaganda Machine
Monday, January 10, 2005
By Nancy Salvato

Sometimes in order to see an issue with clarity, it must be framed in the proper context. Such is the case with Secretary of Education Rod Paige’s decision to pay a pundit to promote a more “truthful” message about NCLB to combat the misinformation campaign led by the NEA.

The attempts to discredit No Child Left Behind as an unfunded mandate with impossible demands made on the states has been swallowed hook, line, and sinker, as truth by the mainstream media and “Educrats”. Yet, the misinformation floating around about NCLB ranks right up with the propaganda spewed out by the likes of Michael Moore in F 9/11, Dan Rather commentating about President Bush’s National Guard Service, and the Kerry campaign attacks on the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth.

What NCLB is attempting to accomplish is really quite simple. Students are to be taught with sound (scientifically proven) educational methodology and leave school with cognitive abilities that would allow them to function independently in the “real world”. The hard reality is that those who graduate high school often have to take remedial courses in college to be able to handle the workload –which has gotten easier. Many don’t earn their college degrees. Many of those who get jobs after high school have to be taught how to write. They cannot fill in simple forms. How many young cashiers can’t count back change? And that’s not the whole picture. There are many who drop out of high school with sub par skill sets.
