Anybody listening to Franken at the CPAC conference?
You have to give Franken credit: he's acting as if the Fairness Doctrine is still the law of the land by having guests on the show like G. Gordon Liddy, Grover Norquist and Darryl Worley.

I know that's not popular at DU, but I think it serves Air America well to have one show, just one, where conservatives who are interested in serious debate and discussion can come from time to time.

someone seeking out people who hated him at rib places in the south, so he could talk to them.

Did you ever hear him tell the story of how he went out to talk to the Phelps people when they were demonstrating at someplace he was appearing?

HAHA They just mispelled REAGAN!!!!!!

2. Wholeheartedly agree ...
if you're not man (or woman) enough to face the opposition without mutes, disconnects, or SHUT UP!s, then you're words are nothing.

4. Franken still believes
that maintaining a cordial relationship and open dialogue with the opposition will lead to concensus.

He doesn't understand that since the '90s the Repubs stated objective hasn't been to beat the democrats, but to DESTROY the Democrats...

They don't want concensus. They want victory at all costs.......

8. I don't understand
He's on the Canadian Parliamentary Access Channel? This is what CPAC means up here. Acronyms are useful if everyone knows what they mean.

So what is your CPAC short for?

12. Lovely
And I'm sure the Ronald Reagan building probably is old, has a snazzy facade and a shabby interior, is a little confusing to navigate through, and in fact is probably somewhere else altogether, not unlike its namesake. Also, the plumbing likely trickles down more than it ought to.
