Republican Party = The party of hatred. The party of discrimination.
Edited on Sat Feb-12-05 04:27 PM by in_cog_ni_to
The party of big corporations. The party of bigotry. The party of big deficits. The party of no compassion. The party of greed. The party of outsourcing. The party of warmongering. The party of fascism. The party of pollution/anti-environment. The party that has demolished our public school system. The party that hates our senior citizens and wants to destroy Medicare and SS. The party that hates poor people. The party who takes from our Veterans and doesn't give back.

Am I right?

Did I miss anything?

Question. What's to like???????

on edit added...environment, school, seniors, Veterans and the poor.

practised by the critters.

3. The party who is keeping us safe from terrorists. I don't agree.
However, I think that perception helped them keep Bush in office.

4. and I can say horrible bad things about the democratic party
grow up out of the childish need for hateful speech.

why not use your energy to find similarities and find positive things about the republican party instead of fueling the blind hatred that is so easily created by both the demopublicans and the republicrats?

7. Sorry.
I have 4 more years to push my hatred. The repukes spent 8 years trying to bring down Clinton and now people want to play nice? Not gonna happen. They have at least 4 more years of pure hatred coming their way from me. Thank you very much.

8. Because that is the TRUTH about the repukes and it needs to
be seen and expressed somewhere freely and with passion. Here is a great place to start. I agree with everything that was said and would add more. Where have you been lately?

13. watching both sides do horrible things
and then accussing the other of being the only perputator.

we as a nation (dare I say world even) need to wake up, educate ourselves and find common ground instead of just the ignorant bleating of the same hate speech that continues the mess we are in.
From day one we are indoctrinated into an us versus them mentality through school sports, professional sports, our 2 party political system etc.. that seperation from our neighbor needs to end.

take a read from

MLK, Ghandi, Jesus, Buddha, Lao-tzu, Bahá'u'lláh, Muhammad
and on and on and on.....

hate does not bring about peace or justice or understanding.

5. Tax cuts
All right, they were bait and switch for anybody who works for a living, resulting in 6 FICA hikes by Reagan and a shift to higher state and local taxes under Idiot. However, tax cuts are 100% more than the Democrats under the DLC offered the average working stiff.

That's what to like. Clinton was right. It IS the economy.

My take is that it gives people an excuse to be all of the things you mentioned, particularly bigoted and greedy.

That's a disgusting thought. My Senator is a homophobe, sexist, racist and greedy sob...if he can be, so can I! It's safe to show my true colors.

sad. sad. sad.

16. You missed alot
The Republican party used to champion many worthy issues, it was the necessary other half of the country. They took issues like States Rights, fiscal responsibility, supporting agriculture. They acted as a check to the Democratic party. No one party can rule a democracy. There are many good things that the Republican Party members stand for. Even if their current leadership does not.

17. One problem.
Our Democracy IS being ruled by one party. What are the good things the repuke party stands for? Not agriculture anymore. The HUGE deficit is in conflict with the fiscal responsibility issue. States rights? Did you see the bill that was passed last week? It took the class action suits out of the states hands and took it to the federal level. What about their stance on the GMA? The Dems want to leave it to the states...they want to amend the damn constitution! Please. What are the good things they stand for. Apparently I've overlooked them.
