It was a rare and precious moment in today's journalism. He set it up perfectly too. Bush* honestly thinks this will just pass on by, but I don't think so. Comments like that really give me hope.

has this story awakened the heretofore silent media that has any guts whatsoever?

The extreme arrogance of a president dictating when a "matter is closed" - especially one that cost 10,000 civilians their lives and 200 Americans (and climbing) and untold billions of tax payer dollars (in exchange for services the majority depend upon) for the forseeable future and the loss of our credibility in the world - in a so-called Democratic society SHOULD appall even the morans - if they bother to get up off their arses and find out that he said it. I doubt it's on Fox, but it's on a lot of internet media links. I mean, come on, do they draw the line ANYWHERE? The fact that all the US got out of this lousy deal was Halliburton contracts - and that was just for a chosen few Americans - hasn't gotten through to them, but maybe, just maybe, the signs of the onset of fascism aren't too difficult for them to grasp.
