Anyone else hear the NPR show this morning with
Ehrlich or something like that, who worked for Clinton? The bottom line of his little speech was that we should go along with some sort of reform to social security, because a majority of hispanics would be taking care of a bunch of elderly whites. As far as I'm concerned it went further way, way, way downhill from there. Anyway, for your listening displeasure if you care to.

These people are never getting any more money from me.

7. That's pretty much what he said.
It sounded like he was trying to stir up a race war.

2. That guy sucked.
I could not believe he was a Democrat, let alone worked for Clinton. That was the weakest allegedly Democratic argument I've heard in a long time.

And the comment about domestics paying for their employers' SS was labored and embarrassing.

5. I wouldn't have cared so much if he were Republican.
At least that would have been truth in advertising.

At one point he said: "If I were a Republican...." and all I could think of was: "You mean you're NOT?"

9. Yep. They have. They better hope they can drum up support from
the anti-tax, anti-responsibility, anti-financial support party.

4. So let's pass the 2 to 3 trillion cost of "reform" to Hispanic children?
I've heard some lame arguments, but they're really playing the race cards way too much.

NPR has lost its credibility completely if they're standing behind this kind of tripe. :wtf:

6. They've got several new *-appointees on their board of directors
Listening to everything that's said, and most-likely faithfully reporting back to Karl Rove as a condition of continued employment. Seig Heil chimpster! :puke:

Can't wait for the day when the entire board is comprised of dyslexic nazis. But hey, it'll still be the radio station of The Librul Elite to me. It really is the most insidious situation. The few psuedo-progressives left there provide the new RW slant on the NPR "news" an extra level of credibility with most murrikkkans who don't know or care about the internal workings. Sucks.

11. Weren't these public stations created to be free of
governmental influence? To be an somewhat independent news source?
