First, the Antichrist visited Wednesday. Even though my tax dollars are supporting his foray to North Carolina, only hand-picked repugnantcans are allowed to attend his meetings. Today in the paper it showed bushler sitting next to a black person. Repugnantcans love to use black props in their town hall meetings. Have you noticed, anytime you see a repugnantcan on TV, there is always someone black in the background. They are as much a prop as the American flag to them. Now, Bob Jones himself is coming to North Carolina Sunday. A letter to the editor talked about 'arrogance-based faith'. The arrogance and lack of shame and humility of these so called Xtians is unbelievable. Even more unbelievable are the people who actually think their actions are 'godly or christ-like'. Our country is lost because the American sheeple vote against their best interests and are so easily manipulated by right wing spinmeisters.

7. When I was a student at UNC, Jesse Helms was a broadcaster

at WRAL, Channel 5, in Raleigh. He used to refer to Chapel Hill as "Hippie Hill". I would be pleased to join an earlier poster on a beer-laden trip to his gravesite when that day comes.

6. asheville is a strange place

quite a mix of people here.
many liberals are attracted to the city, but most of the surrounding area seems to be pretty conservative. i can't really say that it is one way or another. from drag queens to mullets, asheville runs the gammit.
