Thats the "Center for Moral Clarity". Basically, its a fundy group that just left of "reverend Phelps". Its pretty sick. He voted for Kerry hates Bush but cant seem to get past the "god hates fags" mindset.
He started going to one of the churches in town. I am a born again agnostic. I know enough to know that I don't know but went one time when my family was invited. I was genuinely scared. They trotted out the flag during the service and said the pledge of allegiance. Maybe its just me but it seemed almost like Idolatry. I had to leave the service and go have a smoke. I have told my wife I will not go back.
What is also scary is my brother in-law and his family go to the same church. Ack Ack Ack. :puke: Thanks for reading my vent.

1. If he hates Bush thats all that matters.
He can vent his hate for "fags" all he wants yet he wont actually go and try to make them not live lives.

2. I am sorry for you, I hope you can atleast keep your own family away from
that church (your wife and children).

4. Thats not a problem.
I told my wife she can go and take the kids but I will not go. But to go my wife would halfta get up at 7:00am on a Sunday. HAAA I am more of a mourning person than her and that isn't saying much. Before, the kids I cooked breakfast a noon.

3. Although I sincerely appreciate your sharing,...it is personal,...
,...and should be posted in DU Lounge or another "personal" forum.

I am certain that your personal experiences can be shared within the framework of a general/shared discussion. BUT, please, contain you personal posts in a personal forum.

Please.h

6. Hmm. Know thine enemy...

Rod Parsley:

"He has founded and oversees World Harvest Church Ministerial Fellowship which has nearly 2,000 ministers and a combined congregation of over 100,000 members. In addition he is President of World Harvest Bible College, Harvest Preparatory School and Bridge of Hope Ministries, an international missions outreach."

Sounds like a one-stop shopping center cult to me. I wouldn't let my kids near 'em.
