I have this bumper sticker, and after the outrage that continues to come out about Bush & Co., I feel I am ready to display it on my bumper! I must admit, I've been a little afraid, but I feel that even the people who voted for "W", wishes they didn't. The bumper sticker says, "Save the Bill of Rights...... ImpeachBush.org." Okay, what parts of the bill of rights has he violated, just incase I need to explain it to someone. Thanks!

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
(several things in the Homeland Security bill allow warrantless searches. They can force libraries to give out information on what you've read and the library is banned from telling you that you've been investigated)

Amendment V

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
(Nobody in Gitmo has been indicted, none has had due process, and Bush is trying to prevent them from ever getting due process).

Amendment VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

5. What's scary is this.

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

That's the Presidential Oath of Office. Bush violates it every day, constantly and deliberately.

He considers it more important to defend the US from terrorists than to uphold his oath, so he does everything in his power to get around the Constitution in order to protect us from terrorists and/or protect his wealthy friends from attack by people they have injured.

Clearly, Bush considers the oath of office a joke. The Constitution to him is an obstacle to his goals. His primary function is supposed to be defending and protecting the Constitution, not undermining it.
