1. I was masochistic last night and watched cable news
I quickly rememebered why I stopped. It's not good for your health if you know what's really going on.

We have a steep hill to climb.

5. I know, I know
This seemingly innocuous box in my living room is really the most evil agent of government control ever devised.

2. Yeah, I remember why I don't watch TV news anymore.

Between Charles Camilla, and the MJ jury, is there anything else in the world? Apparently not from what I can see on the tube.

3. Where are your priorities? Why do you hate Murka?
Obviously a British royal's remarriage is more important and urgent than getting to the bottom of why we were creamed on 9/11.

Oh, look! Jacko trial!

8. 911 is old news
Who cares? Just because it's continues to be the prime mover for every destructive societal change brought by the administration, doesn't mean it's newsworthy.

6. Pope leave hospital -- biggest news of the morning?
CBS radio news this morning was leading with the Pope's release from the hospital as if that was some sort of earth shattering event. Later this morning, however, they did finally move the 9/11 story to the lead...

onenote

7. Sorry to be dense...
But what 9/11 story?

I'm at work, no clue what's up with that...

Just a link would be fine, if you have one.

Thanks

11. you got it right here:
Oh, it's nothing, just what we already knew--the White House had googobs of warnings about suicide airplane hijackers prior to 9/11. Nothin' to see here folks.

9/11 Report Cites Many Warnings About Hijackings
By ERIC LICHTBLAU

Published: February 10, 2005

WASHINGTON, Feb. 9 - In the months before the Sept. 11 attacks, federal aviation officials reviewed dozens of intelligence reports that warned about Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda, some of which specifically discussed airline hijackings and suicide operations, according to a previously undisclosed report from the 9/11 commission.

But aviation officials were "lulled into a false sense of security," and "intelligence that indicated a real and growing threat leading up to 9/11 did not stimulate significant increases in security procedures," the commission report concluded.

9. Sheesh, even BBC didn't have Charles/Camilla as the lead story
At least, on the website, I mean. (I don't get BBC on TV.) North Korea's announcement that it is pulling out of nuclear talks was the lead story, with Charles/Camilla below that. And this is a BRITISH network!!
