Making it legal to engage in legal activities (in MI)
One of our state senators (Virg Bernero, I believe) is introducing legislation to clarify that we can engage in legal activities in our own homes without retribution.

How sad is it that we've come to that point?

This is a response to the smokers who got fired for smoking on their own time, but I hope it will have broader implications, particularly for the GLBT crowd.

Please contact to our Michigan legislators to encourage them to support this bill. http://www.senate.michigan.gov/SenatorInfo/find-your-senator.htm. It might be a model for other states as well. I couldn't find a copy of the bill online yet, Nancy Skinner discussed it on the radio this morning.
