AFA Releases Video Warning About Pornography

The AFA has finally reacted to Adelphia's decision to offer sexually-explicit movies on their cable systems. Needless to say, they're not happy about it.

I'm more pissed by those damn "Girls Gone Wild" commercials that are NOT blocked by the V-Chip, and run on regular broadcast and non-pay channels. That's offensive.

Other companies are expected to follow Adelphia's lead? Adelpphia is the LAST major cable co. that does NOT offer the adult channels.

But no lie is a bad lie when used to fight the evils of pornography, right?

Adelphia felt safe in offering the illegal obscenity because they know that the Department of Justice (DOJ) will not prosecute them. By their inaction, DOJ has indicated that they will not prosecute any cable system or Internet provider showing hardcore pornography.

Maybe the reason that the DOJ is not prosecuting is beccause obscenity laws were ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL by a federal judge and the DOJ is waiting on the appeal.
