Question: what's all the references to blivet** all of a sudden? Does that
stand for bush** and what does it mean. I've seen it a few times tonight, and I also saw someone ask what the meaning is but no one answered him/her. So I'm just throwing it out for anyone and everyone.

4. Well, here's what I found for blivet...
http://catb.org/~esr/jargon/html/B/blivet.html

What I knew as a blivet, from the late 60's-early 70's at least, was an empty streamlined pod with a door on it which could be hung like a bomb on an F-4 Phantom II fighter and which would hold a weekend's worth of civilian clothes and maybe some duty-free liquor for those road trips. There wasn't room for luggage anywhere else.

6. Sometimes, you need to help yourself ...
... try http://www.dictionary.com -- a.k.a. http://dictionary.reference.com -- for word definitions or http://www.wikipedia.org for a more encylopædic definition.

Two highly useful resources.

In the case of "blivet":
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=blivet
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blivet
