Poll question: How long till we start getting sold a Iran Invasion?
Theres a bill from what I understand that is getting ready to go through the house of representatives that from what I hear has some language about Iran in it. My mom tells me she is hearing more and more about Iran and says this would cause a draft, not like everyone though Iraq would, but this would be a big war, her words not mine.

So I pose the poll question, if this is real...any predictions on when we will start seeing it begin to be sold to the public like a new product?

2. It's been going on for some time now.
It's ALL part of the PNAC plan.
We went through the same shit with Iraq...
"Saddam must give up his WMD's"
"We are warning Saddam to comply"
"We will take action if Saddam fails to come clean about his WMD's"

"The bombs are falling on Bagdhad as we speak"

90 days tops, and we'll be dropping bombs on Tehran.

11. Yeah, I'll bet they are...
"(name of country) must give up their (name of transgression or weapons system) in the name of Freedomn and spreading Democracy or else the (Free World or US, depending on the popularity of anticipated action) will be forced to take (economic action or blow the living fuck out of them) in order to preserve Freedom and fight (Terra or Tyranny, whichever is playing well with the Limbaugh crowd this week)..."

Damn, I should be a speech write in DC!

5. The past couple of months it has been
"the Iranians are making and atomic bomb!" Next will come an attack from a Silkworm missile in the tonkin, er excuse me, Persian Gulf. Some unfortunate Navy frigate will get hit and the fight will be on.

13. I was always of the belief that, since the end of the cold war, I
would never have to worry about nuclear weapons being used in war. Now, I am almost certain that we will witness this in the near future.

We, or Israel, is going to attack Iran. Then, a shit storm like we have never seen is going to take place. The United States is going to get her ass handed to her. Russia and China will only sit by for so long as we try to conquer the middle east before they get involved.

8. Here's the Yahoo! story:
Bush seeks regime change in Iran, but his route is unclear, experts say

Tue Feb 8, 9:35 AM ET

WASHINGTON (AFP) - US President George W. Bush (news - web sites) has been actively behind "regime change" for Iran but the route to that end has yet to be defined and the perils are great, US experts said.

Bush and his top aides have turned up the volume in their verbal attacks on the Islamic republic, calling it an "outpost of tyranny" and one of the principal backers of international terror, on its way to developing a nuclear weapon.

(snip)

"Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney have not ruled out the use of force, not only to potentially destroy Iran's nuclear sites, but also to weaken the regime."

Edited on Wed Feb-09-05 05:24 PM by mordarlar
Was just polling and i heard the commercial. Apparently the show is having an episode where the US invades Iranian air space to prompt an attack. WOW! getting the news out with a fictional drama. Good job West Wing.
