Where is Perot in all this anyway?
Remember all of those deficit graphs Perot showed us in '92 when he ran for president? He didn't like deficits then. It was the whole centerpiece of his Reform Party if I recall.

I'd like to know what Perot thinks of the Bush 2 deficits. If Perot won't denounce Bush 2 for record deficits, then I think Perot's a hypocrite.

1. It's not so much that he didn't like deficits, he just really really liked
graphs. Particularly pie graphs. Mmmmm....pie graph.

2. Fuck Perot
He endorsed * on Larry King on the virtual eve of the election...

He hated Al Gore because Al spanked him on Larry King during the NAFTA debate...

4. The Perot endorsement was supposed to be
the last minute surprise I believe to push Bush's maybe 2 % lead in the polls to 4 %, but instead it got completely washed out by the other last minute news, the drunk driving conviction, which I would argue probably took 3 % from Bush's total.

6. Gore Was Wrong On NAFTA
And Clinton was wrong on unregulated "free trade."

This is all coming home to those of us losing white collar jobs to people in India, etc.

The high-tech industries are moribund for hiring and many including IBM and Microsoft are scrambling to move ever more work overseas all in the name of free trade.

Perot was right on this issue.

9. Perot's been lying low since the suits visited him during his campaign
Scared the snickers out of him, so he withdrew. Then, they got freaked out that it was too obvious, and he had to throw his hat back in.

His message appealed to too many Americans at the time, and it was dangerous for established power.
