Has Canadian Immigration come back with a ruling yet on his case. He is the soldier who served a tour in Afghanistan and was scheduled for deployment to Iraq, but he slipped into Canada before he was scheduled to leave. He had a hearing with Canadian Immigration about a month ago and I have not heard anything since. The case is important because if he is allowed to stay it could make it possible for thousands of other objectors to escape service in this unjust war
