Freepers reason for no corporate taxes.
They say they get passed down to the consumer.

I totally agree so does their employees benefits and salaries, electric bills, etc.

They cite this argument all the freaking time I point that out but they just shake their heads.

2. The best is the argument that they can't tax the corporations
so they tax the consumers. Like in gasoline.

3. Tax haters have a stupid argument against every kind of tax
Property taxes: "We get taxed year after year after year!"

Corporate taxes: "The same money gets taxed over and over!"

Estate taxes: "My dad paid income taxes on that money, why should it be taxed again when I inherit it?"

Wah, wah, wah.

Oh, I forgot sales tax. They don't hate that one too much as long as it stays regressive. If you try to exempt stuff like food and medicine and clothing, they go off with the whining.

4. Tax Cut Monkeys love this argument.
You are correct of course that all taxes paid by corporations are no different from any other expense of doing business. But the Tax Cut Monkeys also are making a circular argument which leads to the conclusion that no workers pay their own income taxes. Rather it is the employers, or customers of the self employed, who pay the workers' income taxes.

For example: The GOP Lying Crap Corporation sells plumbing supplies to a plumber, so the Tax Cut Monkeys claim that the plumber pays the corporation's income taxes. But the plumber uses the supplies to fix the doctor's leaky pipes and is paid by the doctor, so by Tax Cut Monkey logic it actually is the doctor who is paying the corporate income tax. Plus, by Tax Cut Monkey logic the doctor also is paying the plumber's income taxes. But the doctor is treating the sole shareholder of the GOP Lying Crap Corporation and is paid by the sole shareholder, so by Tax Cut Monkey logic it actually is the sole shareholder who is paying the corporate income tax. And by Tax Cut Monkey logic the sole shareholder also is paying the doctor's income taxes. But the sole shareholder works for the GOP Lying Crap Corporation . So by Tax Cut Monkey logic the corporation pays the sole shareholder's income taxes, who in turn pays the doctor's income taxes, who in turn pays the plumber's income taxes who in turn pays the corporation's income taxes, which in turn pay's the sole shareholder's income taxes.

This very simple example likely is beyond the comprehension skills of the average freeper. But the average freeper is little more than a republican welfare queen who wants all of his government benefits to be free.

5. By the same 'logic' - no person should ever be taxed.
Because it just reduces how much a person can spend buying goods and services from a business. :eyes:

So, don't tax people; just tax the businesses.

6. History shows this to be a lie.
As Eliot Spitzer pointed out in his speech at the Nat'l Press Club:

Since 1980 to the present, the ratio of CEO compensation to Employee compensation has risen from 43:1 to 530:1.

They are taking, not giving. CEOs are motivated by greed. Greed for themselves, not for others, as if there is another kind.

So, when Freepulsives suggest some kind of trickle down, they are simply lying.

The statement occurs at 37:30 +/-.

7. I know, it's so stupid. One of the reasons why developer don't
like the idea of set asides is because they say they'll have to put the price back into the house. Well, gee, that's the point, isn't it? Shouldn't everybody who buys a new house in a community pay their share of the cost for public infra-structure? Put that one up in the duh column.

8. Here is the reason I have heard from FReepers
That Corporations use their tax breaks to create jobs. So I ask, how many Corporations over the past four years have hired workers and how many have outsourced, of those who have paid little or no taxes? BartCop used have a graphic of corps who paid no taxes, and some even got money back, having paid no taxes. I guess it helps to be brainwashed?
