"It's disappointing that only a week after the first free elections in Iraq in fifty years, Sen. Kennedy is still preaching a cut and run strategy. Sen. Kennedy is actually calling for increase in training of Iraqi troops and slow withdrawal of troops to be completed by 2006. But the pukes and Tim Russett call it "cut and run".

Go to the GOP national and state websites, you will find "discussion pointsts" infused with buzz words. Then listen to floor speeches or talking head shows and you'll hear them over and over and over and over and over......

9. This is one case where republicans cant take the populist ground.

Americans do value thier lives above Iraqi lives. They dont think thier children are worth trading indefinately as they fine tune Iraq. The Administration is very vulnerable now. Now they are big government wasting money and lives on thier grandoise projects. Kennedy is right on the money here. The only way it could backfire is if Iraq suddenly turns into a success, but I really dont think that is likely at this point.

Bring the troops home now, we cant occupy Iraq forever.
