Iraqi villagers kill 5 insurgents
ABC News

The residents of a small Iraqi village have killed five insurgents who had attacked them for voting in last weekend's national elections.

The insurgents raided the village of al-Mudhiryah south of Baghdad after warning its inhabitants not to vote in the election.

The villagers fought back, killing five of the insurgents and wounding eight others.

Al-Mudhiryah's tribal sheikh says his people are sick of being threatened by Islamic extremists.

1. Disinformation
This is not from Awhat we think of as ABC news, I think this story is a piece of propganda. Some of thast new Pentagon Information warfare crap.

It has been posted on here before they are just trying to make it a big news story.

I am sure some vilagers have killed people but this story is so obviously BS.

that's about the thinnest story I've seen from a major media outlet like ABC.net.au.

And note, it's not ABC News, it's an Australian site.
